Over 90 years of Güntner
What began in 1931 with Hans Güntner's small repair shop in Munich has developed over 75 years into a world leader in refrigeration technology. With pioneering spirit, innovative strength and entrepreneurial skill, Güntner has repeatedly reinvented itself – from the first self-built cooling systems in the 1950s to its expansion into international markets.
After the economic miracle of the 1960s, the company focused on specialisation and expansion. The start of series production of cooling components led to rapid growth that continues to this day. Through constant investment in research and development, Güntner has been able to set technological milestones – particularly in the areas of energy-efficient refrigeration and air conditioning solutions.
By expanding its international presence in the last few decades, Güntner has established itself as a global player. Production plants and sales offices in different countries enable the company to offer customised solutions worldwide. At the same time, the company has remained true to its roots: quality, innovation and sustainability are still the focus of its activities.
The refrigeration and air-conditioning industry has changed dramatically in recent decades, and Güntner GmbH has not only mastered these changes, but has actively helped to shape them.
